Ishundar. "Hold the line!".

Condition: Classified
Chronicle #123a
Codename: "Mass retreat"

As we know Ishundar planet gives us very powerfull benefit - shielding for our vehicles. It helps very much, the perfect example is AMS. After AMS without shield got hit, it turnes visible for a few secs. Shielding prevents AMS from being spotted.

Also what we know about Ish is that battles happen there... seldom. However they're lastign days or weeks even. It's also VS favorite planet.

Everything started when N**S*** logged in. VS had a smallest pop and engaged NC and TR at Akkan. When N**S*** logged it was already at 10% NTU, so he gone for an ANT.

21/10/06 Hossin, the error, and the little fight that could

FIGHT BOOMETER: negative for lack of meaningful progress
highlights: bad VS coordination, several hours of mindless one-sided fighting, until hossin defense/ byblos attack, particularly bad cr5 leading, even from my part

Situation was really simple: NC and TR were poplock fighting on Solsar, and VS were free to deliver their poplock wherever they wanted.

Long story short, we captured everything but OSHUR, CYSSOR, Solsar and TR homeplanets (we had a couple of caves too).

The situation was INCREDIBLE, because TR:
- attacked where we COULD NOT, since we did not have link, displaying the fact that they had some cr5 online who remembered to connect his brain.

07/10 the zerobase fear fucktard technique

FIGHT BOOMETER: positive
highlights: good VS coordination, good overall people response, great fight

Things were looking bad, as I logged on around 4 pm.
We were basically being pushed off from Amerish from an NC poplock. We had 29% population, and were facing a TR poplock on Searhus, with 17% population.

After a quick tower whoring session on searhus, to delay TR and piss them off (much fun placing mines in important towers to blow up bailers), we eventually moved to Amerish, where it was clear we were bound to be double teamed.

Our front line struggled on the north, whilst NC proceeded to backhack us seriously thanks to their great numerical superiority.

30/09 A great afternoon of fighting

Yesterday was a day unlike others.
The situation was stable, with VS controlling searhus and annwn.
Fights were raging on 3 way ishundar and annwn itself.

Since Ish was poplock-bound, I decided to go fight into the cave. Whilst the rest of the squad duked it out on ISH, where we had real chances of winning.

TR were overpopulating annwn pretty badly right from the start, and even if some valiant people responded to a request of support from me, TR were ready to sacrifice much of their bases on ISH, to have annwn and gain a link to Esamir. The fight on the cave was cruel, since they outnumbered us AT LEAST 2 to 1 - the WHOLE TIME!

Database optimisation

I am doing some optimisations, so for the next days there might be style problems.
Things will be soon back to normal tough.

System is operating at reduced functionality to test stability. I will progressively add back modules.

23/09 Ceryshen Vs Supai : 1 - 0

A really dull start yesterday.
Things were under control for VS, nc were under-populated, and tr were über-populated (pretty common as of lately).

After some desperate tower fighting around, while 'cr5s' debated, I decided to move my trusty AMS to Searhus (under tr control). It quickly becomes primary (in the meaniwhile, kosh and some other imbeciles call ceryshen for a "distraction").

Turns out that Searhus becomes mostly one-way. We roll over the sons of bitches with a whooping pop of 73%.
Ceryshen, incredibly, fails -miserably-, which surprised me since TR suck so much as of lately, that it's -ALWAYS- possible for those clueless enough to open the fight, to capture at least a base in tr homeplanets, which leads to some brainless, altough fun, combat that last hours and leads nowhere.
